The role
This is a new business role for someone who wants to build.
You will join the commercial team led by our experienced Business Development Manager, who recently joined Dragonfly to grow the Dutch e-commerce business. Your focus is clear: open doors, create conversations and bring new customers into Dragonfly’s network.
You will speak with webshops, retailers, fulfillment companies and e-commerce decision makers who are looking for a delivery partner that thinks with them, scales with them and is easy to reach when it matters.
Once a customer signs, the onboarding team will be closely involved in onboarding, implementation and account management. That gives you the space to stay focused on what you do best: hunting, building pipeline and creating commercial momentum.
You will:
Generate new business in the Dutch e-commerce and fulfillment market
Approach prospects through innovative outbound sales strategy and actions, networking and smart follow-up
Build and manage your own pipeline in CRM
Work closely with your manager on target accounts, messaging and market feedback
Turn first conversations into qualified opportunities and commercial proposals
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who already knows what it means to work in sales. This should not be your first commercial role, but you do not need to be a senior heavyweight either. Maybe you are currently in inside sales and ready to move into a more external role. Maybe you already work in logistics, parcel delivery, fulfillment or e-commerce services and want more ownership. What matters most is that you are proactive, commercially sharp and not afraid to create opportunities yourself.
You like freedom, but you also understand structure. You follow up properly, document your work and keep your pipeline clean and filled. Sales is energy, but it is also discipline.
1 to 5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development
Experience in logistics, fulfillment, parcel delivery or e-commerce services is a strong plus
Fluent in Dutch and English, self-starting and structured in follow-up
