Dragonfly Shipping is an international logistics company founded in Canada and now expanding into the Netherlands. They are growing fast and already trusted by global brands. Our goal is simple: to make parcel delivery for e-commerce smarter, faster, and more sustainable.

The role
As Business development manager, you will play a central role in expanding Dragonfly’s presence in the Dutch market. It’s about identifying opportunities, building long-term relationships, and shaping our commercial strategy as last mile carrier in the Dutch market.
You will lead the development of new business with e-commerce marketplaces, retailers, third party logistics providers and other logistics clients. Design and execute growth plans, and translate market insights into concrete actions. Together with our global team, you’ll help position Dragonfly as a premium and innovative logistics partner.
You will:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities
- Build strategic relationships with potential customers, from first contact to signed contract
- Develop market entry plans and customer acquisition strategies for the Netherlands
- Collaborate closely with operations and marketing to ensure alignment between sales and service delivery
- Monitor performance, pipeline progress, and customer satisfaction to drive continuous improvement
What we are looking for
We’re looking for an entrepreneurial mind who combines sales leadership with a true business development mindset. You understand how to open doors, create trust, and close deals that generate long-term value. You see patterns in the last mile carriere solutions market and know how to turn opportunities into growth.
- Proven experience in e-commerce logistics, fulfillment, or parcel delivery sales
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial instincts and relationship-building skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English, confident in C-level communication
What we offer
